MD Job Description: WLSC located in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking several Lap-Band qualified Bariatric Surgeons for a growing
surgical practice. Bariatric surgical positions throughout the United States will be available in the next 3-18 months. Clinical
duties include delivery of patient care through examination, diagnosis, and treatment of obesity. Perform general and bariatric
surgical procedures when deemed appropriate. Provide educational services to community groups/general public/organizations
and other health care providers, while maintaining standards of professional practice in accordance with established methods and
procedures. Prepare written reports as required for service coordination with other healthcare providers and referral sources, as
appropriate, within established guidelines. Document all services (evaluation and treatment) provided to patients in service
records including, but not limited to diagnostic evaluation, history of medication usage and allergies/drug sensitivities, history of
physical problems, medication prescriptions, per established guidelines.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine and completion of residency program in bariatric and/or general
surgery. Laparoscopic skills are a must. Must maintain Board eligibility or certification by appropriate specialty board. Must
hold and maintain appropriate state and federal licenses and certification to prescribe medication and controlled substances.
Full-time employment with benefits. Approximately 40 hours per week.

The Petaluma Health Center, a federally- funded full-service family practice, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible family
physician, internist and pediatrician. We are a federally qualified community health center. We serve the entire community, and
our patient population includes insured professionals, working class, the homeless, the uninsured and Medi-Cal. We see a large
percentage of monolingual Spanish-speaking patients. You would join a group of eight family practitioners, one ob/gyn, five
midlevel practitioners, three licensed social workers, a psychiatrist, psychologist, dentist , and two midwives.
Petaluma is about 45 minutes drive north of San Francisco. The area is known for its natural beauty and is in the heart of wine
country, close to the coast, to rural landscapes, and to urban areas.
PHC is searching for a physician interested in the full range of medicine, inpatient and outpatient. For family practitioners,
obstetrics is optional. For pediatricians, inpatient duties are primarily with newborns, and managing rare basic admissions.
He or she must be competent in Spanish and in Latino cultural issues (or committed to learn). The personal and professional

approximately every 6-9 days. Each primary care physician rotates as a hospitalist for a week, and the clinic duties are lightened
during that time. We have a collaborative model of care and management, and are undergoing tremendous growth and change.
